ANJA SCHNEIDER (Mobilee, Berlin)
As Mobilee label head Anja has focused not only on discovering fresh talent, but also on cultivating and developing the mobilee roster, pushing artists to challenge themselves and developing their careers as DJs and musicians. Under her guidance, Mobilee and its sister label Leena Music have grown into one of Berlin’s most-watched staples, with a close-knit collection of producers and musicians that carve out a distinct sound in a city teeming with electronic music.
LEE VAN DOWSKI (Mobilee, Geneva)
There’s a certain implicit class and exuberance in the name Lee Van Dowski that carries over to the French-born, Geneva-based artist’s music. It is music couched in techno but with plenty of human soul; with an inviting rhythm that works its way not only under your skin, but into your deepest feelings. At times dark, at times stripped back, and always unique, Lee’s music has come on lauded labels like Luciano’s Cadenza as well as Wagon Repair, BPitch Control and Dumb Unit, but nowadays he is most closely associated to the Mobilee family.
RE.YOU (Mobilee, Berlin)
It’s been a meteoric rise for Re.You, his success in the electronic music scene a distant cry from shattered hoop dreams. Now firmly Berlin-based, his prolific release schedule continues unabated, the live show with Rampa going from strength to strength as well as DJ sets at clubs across the world.
ECHOES INVITES AMPHIA RECORDS
What about a world projected only in the mind of the creator? A world imagined with the sole purpose of not obiding the omnipresent sonic and musical intricacies. A world with no boundries, an infinite ocean of musical shapes and ideas where everything fuses gently into the horizon that spans forever.
This metaphor was the original ideea that led romanian artists Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia to start their Amphia label. A name that makes you think of endless possibilities, music that morphs in ways they can only imagine. Like the lost world of Atlantis, Amphia is here to rediscover some of the lost artefacts of ancient electronic music using a very futuristic technique.
